We hope you love your purchase, but if you need to return or exchange, here’s how it works:
Returns
If you have received a damaged item, please contact us at hello@islandmade.shop with photos and your order number.
Island Made wants our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and will happily offer a credit in instances where you have changed your mind or are not completely satisfied with a product.
Due to the limited nature of our pieces, we do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different size or alternative item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the returns process for the original item.
If your return is accepted as per our returns policy, we will issue you with a credit note for the purchase price to re-shop your item of choice.
Original postage and return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
Eligible products can be returned within 14 days of the date you received your parcel for a credit note providing the product is in original condition. Great love & care has been taken to ensure your item arrives to you immaculately and it must be returned in the same condition, making sure the product is in original packaging & is undamaged. If the return is received damaged, you will not be eligible for a credit.
If your return is accepted as per our returns policy, we will issue you with a credit note for the purchase price to re-shop your item of choice.
Any items purchased from the 'Sale' section cannot be returned for an exchange, no exceptions as they are reduced for clearance. Any 'Sale' items which are returned will be refused upon delivery.
Please note Island Made reserves the right to refuse a return if it does not meet the conditions outlined above.
Island Made take many photos to accurately display their products so that you can make an informed purchase.
Island Made will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damages arising from or to the purchased items. Any faults are claimable within 14 days by approval - please contact us first before returning faulty goods. After 14 days all issues will be deemed incidental or consequential and will not be claimable. Approved claims for faulty goods will be compensated by store credit only.
To avoid your return being rejected, if you are not sure of something please contact us.
If your item is incorrect, please notify us immediately. Photos will need to be provided and the item may need to be returned. We will instruct you once you have made contact. Claims for incorrect items can only be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
For International returns, you will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items. If the package does not reach us safely we will not be able to complete the refund, we recommend sending via a traceable method for peace of mind and to retain proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.
In case of a parcel being rejected at customs due to change of mind, we reserve the right to withhold duties and taxes incurred from your refund once it has been returned to us.
Swimwear & Intimates
- customers must try on items wearing undergarments
- if you wish to return an item, the tags and protective hygiene strip must remain in place, the item will not be accepted if either of these have been removed, altered or if the item shows sign of wear
Earrings, Hats & Beauty Products
- due to hygiene and health and safety reasons, we do not accept change of mind return requests for earrings, beauty, Hats & intimates items
Gift Cards
- Gift Cards are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue and are not redeemable for cash
